If you are interested in taking part, please read the Rules & Guidelines before registering online.
To register, please enter your name as Username and create a Password, this will enable you to be able to complete a registration form, and access your details for the SAOS website.
You are required to download, print and sign an agreement form for participating in open studios, failure to do so will mean your registration will not be accepted. Payment for SAOS can only be received by cheque, please send your payment and signed agreement form to Sandie Sharp at Surrey Arts.
What’s new for 2008
This year we will be hosting a Surrey Art in Action as a launch for Surrey Artists Open Studios. This will give the public a chance to see a variety of talented artists and designer makers creating their craft. Whether a potter, stonecarver or painter, these artists will be on hand to explain how they create their work and you will have the opportunity to have ago yourself!
The event will take place at The Mill Studio, Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford on Thursday 29th, Friday 30th and Saturday 31st May 2008, opening hours 12 – 5pm.
We also hope to host another public bus tour to go round several studios on Sunday 14th June. There will also be Taster exhibitions allowing the viewer to see a collective of work exhibited at one venue.
2007 saw the introduction of the Sunbury Art Trail, this was a great success and will continue for 2008, as with many other popular initiatives.
