Businesses who advertise online with Surrey Artists Open Studios benefit from our increased web traffic due to our growing publicity and marketing campaign including social media and new for 2011/12 the introduction of the online events calendar, Christmas Open Studios and additional days for the summer Open Studios event.

Surrey Artists Open Studios annual event is now offering more resources and a new look and feel brochure that will be more user-friendly for our artists, businesses and the public. We are offering you a unique opportunity to advertise your business on our website and in our Surrey Artists Open Studios Summer brochure, of which 24,000 copies will be distributed throughout the county in May / June and July 2012.

To celebrate the Olympic cycling races and the torch relay coming to Surrey, we have added an additional weekend to our summer programme, therefore next year’s summer Open Studios dates will be 9 – 24 June and 20-22 July.

Our publicity and marketing campaign will therefore be bigger than ever. We are also hosting an additional special prize draw to reward the public that visit our Open Studio by bicycle

This Open Studios event is the biggest arts event supporting the visual arts in Surrey, boasting an audience of over 20,000.

We now provide a Find a Surrey Artist feature on our website. This valuable resource will enable the public to view a selection of artists work throughout the year and it gives artists an opportunity to promote their practice and other events they are involved with. This new resource on our website has already attracted a lot of web traffic, making our website an extremely valuable resource for businesses to reach potentially more clients.

If you are interested in advertising with us, it will be first come, first served. To book your advertisement please complete the online booking form and make sure you tick the relevant geographical section that you would prefer your advert to be placed.

The 24,000 brochures will be distributed to artists, art venues, art groups, libraries, educational organisations, high street promotional events, and leisure and retail outlets throughout Surrey, London and the South East.

For the first time Surrey Artists Open Studios is hosting a Christmas Open Studios event. Many of our SAOS members regularly open their studio doors in the run up to Christmas, we wish to support our artists and bring them under one umbrella and promote their studios through our Open Studios scheme.

For 2011, the Christmas Open Studios is an online feature only. If this proves popular with artists and our visitors, we propose to produce a publication for Christmas Open Studios 2012.
