Alison Catchlove

Sculptor

Open Studio 2014 I graduated from Loughborough University in 2000 with a degree in fine art: sculpture, since then I have been living in Woking, working in a small studio in my garden. I work mainly in metal using birds, animals, insects and plants as my subject matter and I often take my inspiration from children's stories, poems or illustrations. I want to create sculptures that are fun to look at so I try to give my work a sense of quirkiness often using bright colours or awkward poses to achieve this.
I'm a member of the Surrey Sculpture Society and the Surrey Guild of Craftsmen.

Commissions welcome, artwork for sale, available for workshops in schools etc.

Easy access, parking available.

Visitors welcome by appointment.
