John Hedgecock

Pinhole Photographer / Illustrator / Woodworker

I am a graduate of The University College of Wales, Aberystwyth where I studied painting and sculpture under David Tinker and printmaking, illustration and photography with Alistair Crawford.
Since graduating in 1986 I have combined a career in graphic design with more personal creative and illustrative work, exhibiting in group shows around London and the South East.
I am currently enthralled by pinhole photography. It has an honesty and intensity beyond the scope of modern digital photography.
I also combine my love of wood and traditional music by making musical instruments such as banjos.
