Painter

My work is inspired by bold skies and bright flowers,and is strongly influenced by my love of old textiles. My paintings are essentially optimistic, I try to ensure that the joy that painting brings me is expressed on the finished canvas.

My other works include collage/drawings of flowers which provide the inspiration for the floral shapes in my paintings and
life drawings/collages which explore the play of colour, light & heat across the body.
