Carol Orwin SSS

Sculptor

I am passionately interested in the muscular form, movement, and power of the animals that I model. I aim to catch their vitality, nature and personality without compromising the anatomical integrity of the sculpture. I model in clay after meticulous research and observation of the subject. Wherever possible, I study the animals directly and try to interpret their actions. I make my own limited edition silicone rubber moulds, casting them in Bronze, Copper, Iron or Marble resin to produce an attractive choice of finishes. When commissioned I have work cast in Foundry bronze.

See the artist's SAOS Member web page for more information.

Carol Orwin welcomes visitors all year round by appointment.

Fleur Robertson B.A.

Photographer / Mixed Media Artist

Mixed media artist combining watercolour and photography to produce intriguing and original 'softened reality' images. A photograph is printed on smooth watercolour paper and then brushed with watercolour and water to dilute or strengthen the inkjet inks used in the print. Each exactingly created artwork is unique (as the brushwork is never the same twice), but part of a limited series of the subject. Current subjects are buildings and streets in Surrey villages and towns, such as Guildford, Dorking, Wonersh, Normandy, Godalming and Haslemere.

See the artist's SAOS Member web page for more information.
