Artist with line and colour
I am always out and about sketching. I like beautiful buildings, people and landscape, but I love to add the modern day or banal details which perhaps give a unique feel. Most of my work is created firstly from a pencil line drawing, then I copy it onto acetate. I then use torn strips of magazines and newspapers to create the colour underneath. The result can be realistic or abstract.

In my work I reuse and recycle paper, fabrics, frames and any other items that I find to make quirky Textiles Art. I mix them together with retro, new fabrics, and techniques to create one-off bespoke Art. That is the magic that makes my Art unique to both me and you. My style has developed over the years to include all sorts of favourite phrases, poems, proverbs and even words unique to the client.
