Linda Banks BA(hons)

Glass artist

Linda Banks holds a BA (hons) in Art and English and on the art side she specialised in glass techniques. She works with copper foil and lead methods to create unique, artist-designed heirloom pieces in stained glass. She makes light shades, mirrors, windows, wall panels, jewellery, decorated vases,coasters and terrariums, as well as working to commission to create artworks for birthdays, anniversaries and celebrations. The 'Marbellous' shade pictured comprises over 700 individual pieces and took over 70 hours to complete. It was shown at a prestigious glass exhibition in Cumbria (2013)
