Gaynor Wilson MCSP BA
Ceramicist
I have been working with clay for many years, starting out as a quilter and then being seduced by clay at evening classes being taught by Alison Britton. For the last 4 years I have been studying ceramics at Glasgow School of Art, graduating in 2012. This has provided the launch pad to develop my own individual style. I am currently working with slabs of clay making cylinders which can be both functional and decorative. My pieces are fired to stoneware temperature which provide many challenges of form and surface finishes. I try to produce tactile textures within the forms .
