Sue Rowles

Painter

Sue's Garden Design career filters through into her largely Contemporary work which is both horticultural and textural but with human and sometimes animal interest. Collage and Mono-printmaking add the unpredictability which Sue seeks for her vibrantly colourful mixed media work. She paints more traditionally in oils from her house in the South of France where she also runs workshops and exhibits. Sue and photographer husband, Mike, travel extensively. She sketches avidly and sometimes wheedles a photographic image or 2 from which to paint. No wall in their house is picture-free.

Sue Rowles welcomes visitors all year round by appointment.

Michael Rowles

Photographer

Mike has been taking photographs for over fifty years, progressing during that time from a Box Brownie to the bewildering complexities and opportunities of the digital format, but retirement has enabled him to indulge his particular love of travel photography, and he will be showing a wide selection of photos from around the world, with a particular emphasis on the variety and vibrance of India, Thailand and Cambodia '.
